Nü Haus

So we went and bought a new house. No more apartment living for us for the next four years or so, until we have to move when I give up the Graduate Student Life and get a Real Grown Up University Job! The house epitomizes the term FIXER-UPPER which means we got it for dirt cheap and pretty much everything except the foundation needs to be replaced. For a short and incomplete photo tour, go to:

Tonight we "officially" started work on it by tearing up all the carpet. You can't tell it from the pictures, but the carpet is effing NASTY. I never did get a good shot of the burned out spot that was in the guest room...
